- Light: Full sun, ideally 6–8 hours daily
- Water: Keep media lightly moist, but not waterlogged
- Airflow: Grow in a bright and airy location
- Media: Repot using Chaiyo Universal Substrate
- Optional Amendment: Add French Bark Nugget 8–15mm if your growing area is humid, low-airflow or the media stays wet for too long
- Avoid: Overwatering, soggy media and unnecessary root disturbance after repotting
Recommended Chaiyo Mix for Home Growing
At our Thailand nursery, we grow Dill using 100% Chaiyo Universal Substrate.
For home growing, we recommend starting with Chaiyo Universal Substrate. If your environment is more humid, shaded or has lower airflow, you may add French Bark Nugget 8–15mm to improve drainage and airflow.
Adjust watering based on sunlight, airflow, heat and humidity. Dill enjoys consistent moisture, but the media should not stay soggy.
Harvesting Tip
Snip outer leaves when needed for fresh use. Regular light harvesting encourages continued growth. Dill can also be allowed to flower if you want to collect dill seeds later.
