Recommended Chaiyo Mix for Home Growing
At our Thailand nursery, we grow Fennel using VEP Mix under nursery growing conditions.

For home growing, we recommend Chaiyo Universal Substrate as a suitable potting base. If your growing area is more humid, shaded, low-airflow, or the media stays wet for too long, add French Bark Nugget 8–15mm or Perlite to improve drainage and airflow.

Adjust watering based on sunlight, airflow, heat and humidity. Fennel enjoys consistent moisture, but the media should not stay soggy.

Harvesting Tip
Snip outer leaves when needed for fresh use. Regular light harvesting encourages continued growth. Fennel can also be allowed to flower if you want to collect seeds later.

This is a live plant. Plant size, shape and fullness may vary slightly from photos. Bare root Fennel must be repotted as soon as possible after receiving.
