Recommended Chaiyo Mix for Home Growing
At our Thailand nursery, we grow Mexican Tarragon using 100% Chaiyo Universal Substrate under nursery growing conditions.
For home growing, we recommend
Chaiyo Universal Substrate as a suitable potting base. Mexican Tarragon enjoys light moisture, but the media should not stay soggy.
If your growing area is more humid, shaded, low-airflow, or the media stays wet for too long, add a small amount of Perlite 2–4mm to improve drainage and airflow.
Adjust watering based on sunlight, airflow, heat and humidity. Keep the media lightly moist and place the plant in a bright, airy location.

Harvest leaves or small stem tips when needed. Regular light harvesting helps encourage fresh new growth and keeps the plant compact.
