Van Egmond Orchid Substrate is a potting substrate based on tree bark and sod turf allowing for a coarse structure. This coarse structure provides optimal air ratios in the pot, allowing for rapid water draining. This is very important for orchids, as these plants require a lot of oxygen, both inside and outside the pot. By adding lime and fertilizers, the potting substrate has the right acidity, and all nutrients required for the first 4 to 6 weeks.

For optimal results, we advise you:

• Use the appropriate substrate for each crop or cultivation method.

• Do not add other raw materials to the product in order to maintain its properties.

• In order to maintain structure handle with care.

• During cultivation substrate should not be too wet.

• Analyse the substrate regularly during cultivation to determine the exact levels of nutrients.
