Light: Bright light to partial shade, morning sun is suitable
Water: Keep media consistently moist, but not waterlogged
Airflow: Grow in a bright and airy location
Media: Repot using Chaiyo Universal Substrate
Optional Amendment: Add a small amount of Perlite 2–4mm or French Bark Nugget 8–15mm if your growing area is humid, shaded, low-airflow or the media stays wet for too long
Avoid: Letting the plant dry out completely, soggy media and harsh afternoon sun immediately after repotting

At our Thailand nursery, we grow Pennyroyal Mint using 100% Chaiyo Universal Substrate under nursery growing conditions.
For home growing, we recommend
Chaiyo Universal Substrate as a suitable potting base. Pennyroyal Mint enjoys consistent moisture, but the media should not stay soggy.
If your growing area is more humid, shaded, low-airflow, or the media stays wet for too long, add a small amount of Perlite 2–4mm or French Bark Nugget 8–15mm to improve drainage and airflow.
Adjust watering based on sunlight, airflow, heat and humidity. Pennyroyal Mint grows best when the media is kept lightly moist and the plant is placed in a bright, airy area.
Growing Tip
Pennyroyal Mint can spread quickly when happy. Growing it in a pot makes it easier to manage and contain.
