Avoid: Overwatering, soggy media and letting the plant dry out completely for long periods
Recommended Chaiyo Mix for Home Growing
At our Thailand nursery, we grow Sweet Marjoram using VEP Substrate under nursery growing conditions.
If repotting into a larger pot, we recommend
Chaiyo Universal Substrate as a suitable potting base. If your growing area is more humid, shaded, low-airflow, or the media stays wet for too long, add Perlite 2–4mm or French Bark Nugget 8–15mm to improve drainage and airflow.
Adjust watering based on sunlight, airflow, heat and humidity. Sweet Marjoram enjoys consistent moisture, but the media should not stay soggy.
Harvesting Tip
Harvest small sprigs or stem tips when needed. Regular light harvesting helps encourage fresh new growth and keeps the plant compact.
Important Note
This is a live plant. Plant size, shape and fullness may vary slightly from photos. For best results, place Sweet Marjoram in a bright and airy location.
