Van Egmond White Peat Moss is an acidic peat-based mix suitable for acid-loving plants.

Extracted from the top layers of a peat field, white peat has a light colour and coarse structure. With a low pH range of 3.5 to 4.0, it is suitable for plants that prefer acidic soil conditions, such as azalea, rhododendron and other acid-loving plants. It also has high water absorption and distribution capacity.

How to Use
Use as part of a potting mix for plants that prefer acidic conditions. White peat moss is low in nutrients, so it should be mixed with suitable fertiliser, compost or other amendments depending on your plant’s needs. Avoid keeping the substrate overly wet during cultivation.
